Teacher Dashboard
A dashboard built around how teachers teach.
Sonikk approached us with a clear mission: create a bold yet premium brand identity for their growing line of AirPods accessories—ranging from protective cases to charging docks and customizable add-ons. The product was technicallysolid, but the brand lacked clarity and visual impact.

The Problem
The original Teacher Dashboard was built around simplicity, but as classroom demands grew more complex, its limitations became apparent. No data surfaced, no insights to act on, and no way for a teacher to understand the state of their classroom. Teachers pieced together a picture of their day by moving between multiple areas of the platform a fragmented, time-consuming experience where problems went unnoticed until they became urgent. Teacher workflow research became the foundation for every layout decision that followed.
The Process
The central design challenge was information architecture specifically, how to bring lecture scheduling, course progress tracking, assignment grading, and student performance insights into a single screen without creating the very overwhelm the redesign was trying to solve. The discipline wasn't showing everything, it was showing everything in the right order.
Sections were arranged to mirror the sequence a teacher naturally follows throughout their day.
This top-to-bottom flow wasn't arbitrary. It was a direct translation of teacher behavior into interface hierarchy and it meant that a teacher could move through the dashboard in the same order they move through their day, without reorientation.
The redesigned Teacher Dashboard transformed what was effectively a static directory into a fully operational, data-rich workspace. Where the old dashboard answered nothing, the new one answers everything a teacher needs before their first class begins. Tool-switching dropped significantly as teachers no longer needed to navigate across the platform to assemble a picture of their classroom. Everything actionable was now one scroll away.
The Outcome
Based on the improvements delivered, the time spent navigating the platform reduced by an estimated 40%. The shift from a passive view to an active, insight-driven workspace means issues that previously went unnoticed until they became problems are now surfaced proactively giving teachers the visibility to intervene earlier and with more confidence.
